Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dry Goods Manager to join our team. This position requires a dynamic professional with strong purchasing and inventory control expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, vendor relationships, and a team of employees, while ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source and purchase products and services at competitive prices.
• Maintain high standards of certification and traceability for all parts and products purchased.
• Analyse monthly stock requirements and ensure inventory levels meet company standards.
• Place and track purchase orders for requested products and parts.
• Work closely with vendors to negotiate and maintain competitive pricing and service levels.
• Provide accurate and timely product pricing and availability information.
• Resolve any discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
• Oversee employee schedules, working hours, and leave management.
• Determine cost and selling prices for dry goods to support profitability.

• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Sound knowledge of inventory control and purchasing systems.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in relevant software and inventory management tools is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, or supply chain management (preferred in dry goods or related industry)
