A well established and reputable company in the wholesale / retail packaging industry is seeking to appoint a Procurement Manager at their Branch located in Rietfontein.

Job Purpose:

Are you a proactive, experienced, and dynamic Procurement Manager with a passion for sourcing and supply chain optimization. Take charge of the Procurement strategy across all Pretoria branches

Requirements

Grade 12

A tertiary qualification in supply chain management (advantageous)

Minimum 5 years’ Proven senior-level procurement experience (packaging industry preferred)

Presentable appearance.

Experience with procurement software (Sage is a plus)

Good communicator with strong Leadership and problem-solving skills.

Computer literate. (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Valid license and Own Transport

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Lead & guide the procurement team for maximum efficiency

Manage stock levels across all Pretoria branches

Negotiate with suppliers for better prices & trade terms

Monitor market trends & pricing to improve decision-making

Identify new product opportunities to stay ahead of competitors

Ensure a diverse & competitively priced product range for customers

Source quality suppliers & reliable products

Bridge the gap between buyers & sales teams

Oversee stock takes & liaise with senior management.
