One of our large fleet management clients based in Sandton are urgently in need of a Refrigeration Technician within the Fleet Industry to start as soon as possible, or immediately.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN REFRIGERATED TRUCK SYSTEMS (REEFER UNITS) TO JOIN OUR CLIENT. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE A PROVEN TRACK RECORD IN MAINTAINING, DIAGNOSING, AND REPAIRING FRIDGE TRUCK SYSTEMS FROM LEADING MANUFACTURERS.

Salary: Market Related depending on experience  

Working Hours: Mon – Fri: 07h30 – 17h00

Requirements:

Grade 12

Minimum [3] years’ experience working on refrigerated trucks (Please specify in CV)

Relevant Refrigeration Qualification or Trade Certificate

Solid knowledge of Thermo King, Carrier, or similar refrigeration systems (Please specify on CV)

Valid driver’s license

Duties:

Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on refrigerated truck units

Identify and resolve refrigeration system faults efficiently

Perform scheduled servicing on fridge trucks in line with OEM standards

Maintain service records and comply with safety and environmental regulations

Work independently or as part of a team to minimize vehicle downtime
