One of our large fleet management clients based in Sandton are urgently in need of a Senior Bookkeeper within the Fleet Industry to start as soon as possible.      

Working Hours: Mon – Fri: 07h30 – 17h00

Requirements:

Grade 12

Must have at least 5 years’ proven experience as Senior Bookkeeper

Must have worked with large Book Values

Full bookkeeping function from books to balance sheet

Strong knowledge of accounting principles

Experience with accounting software

Solid understanding of VAT, payroll, and reconciliations

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Valid License and Own Transport

Duties:

Full bookkeeping function from books to balance sheet

Full bookkeeping function from source documents to balance sheet

Debtors and creditors management

Bank, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations

VAT returns and statutory compliance

Payroll processing and reporting

Preparation of balance sheets and assisting with management accounts and audits
