We are seeking a motivated, detail‑driven Trainee HR / Labour / Employment Equity Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or junior HR professional who is passionate about labour legislation, compliance, and people development. You will receive full training, mentorship, and exposure to real‑world HR and labour consulting environments.
Your focus will be sales and marketing as well as administration duties in related field

Key Responsibilities
Assist with HR administration, record‑keeping, and compliance documentation
Support senior consultants with labour relations processes, including disciplinary hearings, grievances, and investigations
Participate in the preparation and submission of Employment Equity (EE) reports
Assist with drafting employment contracts, policies, and HR procedures
Conduct basic research on labour legislation, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
Support clients with skills development and training coordination
Attend client meetings and assist with HR audits and workplace assessments
Maintain accurate, confidential HR files and assist with general HR support tasks
Requirements
Gr 12
• Degree/Dip0loma in related or +2 years’ experience in this field
• Valid drivers license and own vehicle
• A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Industrial Psychology, or related field
• Strong interest in labour law, HR compliance, and Employment Equity
• Excellent communication and administrative skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
• Ability to work professionally with clients and maintain confidentiality
• Computer literacy (MS Office essential)
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the HR consulting field
